← ALL FONTS — DGM Europa

INFO
DGM Europa belongs to the rounded-square genre: letters built from softened rectangles. The genre dates to 1952, when Aldo Novarese and Alessandro Butti drew Microgramma for Nebiolo in Turin. Ten years later Novarese expanded it into Eurostile, which became the standard reference for the style and supplied the visual language of a lot of 1960s design. The forms are rectangles with softened corners, wide and horizontally weighted, retaining a balanced width across weights.
