DGM Sprinter is based on “Röntgen Therapie” [‘X-ray Therapy’], first shown in Walter Käch’s “Schriften / Lettering / Écritures – geschriebene und gezeichnete Grundformen” in 1949. While the Bold weight was designed as quite faithful study of the original Röntgen Therapie cut, the lighter weights are added to retain a similar contrast while expanding the family's scope and adaptability.
